We caught up with the folks at Western States Awnings: Vista, CA (WSA) and abc Sun Control: Hollywood, CA this weekend putting up an awesome 38′ by whopping 16′ projection free standing patio awning over the Beach Break Cafe (coming soon to Oceanside Harbor.) The Stobag (European) jumbo telescopic arm retractable awning is a sight to behold; creating a flexible harbor side dining area. The Stobag retractable mechanism allows for the flexibility of a retractable cover on a whole new scale. The projection limits of the free standing patio cover are blown away with this revolutionary mechanism, powered with the rugged Somfy motor.
